Why go
JB's pioneer herbal roast duck — the gravy is built on angelica and “Ten Wonder Herbs”. Char siew, roast pork and herbal chicken soup round out a legit local-delicacy lunch between heritage-street stops.
It's a daytime-only operation (~8am–6pm, no dinner). Weekends pull Singaporean crowds — arrive before noon.
Closed Wednesdays
Ya Wang takes Wednesday off — a frequent day-tripper mistake. Also note: older listings show 44 Jalan Segget; the current address is 28 Jalan Segget.
